If you are looking for a photographer in your area who is participating in The Olivia Act this is the place. The photographers are listed by state.  To find a photographer near you, please click on the page to the right that corresponds with the first letter of your state.  I have TRIED to organize the listing alphabetically by city in those pages, but because of the overwhelming response, there's a good chance I will misplace a lot. 

Directions for The Olivia Act:

All the photographers listed on this blog are participating.  This is a bunch of photographers trying to pay it forward by giving a little back to their communities.  The photographers aren't looking for people to ask for free photo sessions, but we all want others to nominate a family you feel is in need of some amazing pictures that they normally would not have taken because of financial situations.  To nominate a family, please email your photographer of choice and they will contact you directly.  

Guidelines for The Olivia Act participants:

The idea is simple, find a need and fill it.

1. Accept nominations from family, friends and fans.

Ask them to nominate someone in need of portraits that may not be able the get them for whatever reason.

2. Snap Away!

3. Deliver the images, digital negatives or both, NO CHARGE, NO SALES, NO SELF PROMOTION. Do what needs to be done because the need exists.
